The unit uses UV/blue-violet light tubes to attract flying insects toward an electrically charged internal grid. When an insect contacts the energized grid, it is electrically eliminated. A protective outer metal grille helps prevent accidental direct contact with the internal components during normal use.
The housing uses a wide aluminum-alloy body designed for durability and corrosion resistance. Depending on the selected model, the insect killer is available in 20W allowing customers to choose a size appropriate for different spaces.
It can be placed on a suitable surface or installed in an elevated position using the appropriate hanging hardware. This makes it suitable for homes as well as many commercial indoor environments.
